What advice would have been helpful to me as I played over the years?
“I like the freedom to make decisions on the field, all you need is a soccer ball and you can play anywhere.”
The OrthoCarolina Sportsplex is the culmination of Charlotte Soccer Academy’s vision to have a home venue for its teams. The journey started in 2010 when a team evaluated potential sites and culminated with the ribbon cutting and opening of the fields in July 2015.
The OrthoCarolina Sportsplex will house six fields, including five artificial turf fields, with one of the turf fields being a FIFA 2-certified surface. An adjacent 20,000 square foot building will contain the CSA club store, administrative offices, changing facilities and physical therapy space.
If you’re a parent like I am, most of us strive to create every opportunity and environment for success for our children, whether it’s on or off the turf.
Because no matter their position on the field, all soccer players are keepers…
