Michael Bates, MD joins the OrthoCarolina University location specializing in joint replacement. Dr. Bates received his Doctor of Medicine from the University of Virginia School of Medicine; completed his residency at Carolina Healthcare System, here in Charlotte, NC, and an Adult Reconstruction Fellowship at Hospital for Special Surgery, New York City.
Todd Irwin, MD joins the OrthoCarolina Foot and Ankle Institute as a foot and ankle surgeon. Dr. Irwin received his Doctor of Medicine from Wayne State University School of Medicine; completed his residency at William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oaks, MI and a Foot and Ankle Fellowship at OrthoCarolina in 2008.
