OrthoCarolina is thrilled to welcome Dr. Brian Brighton to our OC family! Specializing in pediatric orthopedic surgery and spine surgery, Dr. Brighton will see patients at our Pediatric Orthopedic Center. Originally from Barnegat, NJ, Dr. Brighton and his family have made Charlotte their home since 2009. He looks forward to continuing to make lives better in our community with OrthoCarolina.

MEET DR. BRIAN BRIGHTON:

I wanted to become a doctor because...
...of an interest in anatomy and science I had from childhood and the professional and personal satisfaction I get from helping patients and families.

I am excited to join OrthoCarolina because...

...of the opportunity to continue to practice here in Charlotte in collaboration with the OrthoCarolina physicians and teammates.

As a physician, I think I am unique because...

...my ability to connect with children and families across a variety of ages and spectrum of orthopaedic conditions.

I am excited to join this community because...

...of the opportunity to continue to practice pediatric orthopaedics in the place we have made our home since 2009

When I'm not at the office you're most likely to find me...

....trying to track down my busy family.

Any experience with surgically correcting pediatric post-traumatic radioulnar synostosis with subluxation and approx. -05 pronation?

Hi Emily, yes we have taken down several synostoses, mostly in adults but also in pediatric patients. Our Hand Center physicians would be happy to see you and discuss it further. Many kids can adapt well and not require surgery. Thanks!
