Jakub Dmochowski, MD has joined OC in our Monroe location. He specializes in the Hand and Upper Extremities. Dr. Dmochowski received a B.S. in Biomedical Engineering from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and his Doctor of Medicine from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He completed his residency at WellStar Atlanta Medical Center and received a fellowship in Hand and Upper Extremity from Indiana Hand to Shoulder Center!

I am a previous patient of Dr. D. He performed an expert repair of my left bicep tendon, which was 100% torn from a work injury. Because of issues I experienced with workers comp, the surgery was delayed about 15 weeks, putting me into a non optimal “chronic” condition, and making surgery more challenging due to depletion of my tendon. Because of this delay, a cadaver tendon was used to rebuild my arm. I have had zero complications from this, and it has been almost two years since my injury. Dr. Dmochowski was there every step of the way with me, his bedside manner is very considerate of your concerns and he makes you feel at ease with your decision.
