OrthoCarolina Expands to New Lincolnton Location

LINCOLNTON, N.C. (June 4, 2019) – OrthoCarolina has opened a new office in Lincolnton and added physicians to expand its services and better serve patients in Lincoln County. The office will occupy the space that formerly housed Atrium Health - Carolinas Medical Center Orthopaedic Surgery-Lincoln and will be located next to Atrium Health Lincoln. OrthoCarolina Lincolnton will focus on general orthopedics, physiatry, shoulder/elbow/hand, spine, and sports medicine.

Anchor providers Verano Hermida, MD, Jason Wong, MD and Scott Ajello, PA-C, will see patients at OrthoCarolina Lincolnton and perform surgeries at Atrium Health Lincoln.  Dr. Hermida, who is fluent in Spanish as well as English, specializes in sports medicine, arthroscopic shoulder/knee surgery, total joint replacement of the hip and knee (including Mako® robotic procedures) and general orthopedics. Dr. Wong specializes in sports medicine and orthopedic surgery.
