Why I love to run: I have always loved to run. Running is a great form of exercise and a good way to challenge myself. When running, I can have un-interrupted time to relax my mind, organize my thoughts and reflect on the day. Running for me can sometimes be like pressing the reset button. I feel energized after a good workout and am ready to move on with my day.
Favorite place to run around Charlotte: My neighborhood, the greenways around Freedom Park and the Ballantyne area.
Favorite race: My favorite races are the SouthPark Turkey Trot, OrthoCarolina Classic, The Boston Marathon and The Manchester Road Race (in Connecticut).
My favorite running tip: Don’t overdo it.
My pump up running song: Anything Beyoncé!
