Dr. Gaston is an active orthopedic hand surgeon and researcher with a strong record of peer-reviewed publications, book chapters, and national presentations focused on hand, wrist, elbow, and upper-extremity reconstruction. His work includes clinical outcomes research, multicenter trials (including the NIH-funded WRIST Study), and innovation in peripheral nerve surgery, tendon transfers, amputee care, and prosthetic optimization.
