Lauren Waggoner PT, DPT, OMT-C

Biography

Lauren, originally from Northern Virginia, earned her Bachelor of Science in Education, Kinesiology from the University of Arkansas, where she played for the women's Division One soccer team. Lauren then completed her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Marymount University (Arlington VA) in 2017. 

Currently serving as a Physical Therapist at OrthoCarolina in Matthews, NC. She specializes in treating orthopedic, sports, and post-operative patient populations. Lauren is a certified manual therapist and has a hands-on approach to patients in conjunction with therapeutic exercise. 

Off the clock, Lauren likes to spend time with her husband and her two dogs, Hazel and Lando. She also likes to play golf, soccer, and sand volleyball and loves to travel. She is new to the Charlotte area, and has been having a great time exploring the city and all that it has to offer!
