Biography
Gavin found Physical Therapy to be his passion following four sports-related orthopedic injuries including 3 ACL Reconstructions and a UCL Reconstruction during his high school and collegiate sports career. A local Hickory High School graduate with an undergraduate degree in Sports Science and Fitness Management at North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University. Following his undergraduate scholastic and athletic career, he attended Methodist University for his Doctorate in Physical Therapy where he graduated in 2021. Gavin has been working here at the Hickory, NC OrthoCarolina location since 2012. Gavin has a wide range of experience with all Orthopedic Injuries but specializes in Vestibular/Vertigo/Concussion recovery as well as the overhead athlete. He enjoys watching sports, and video games, and spending time with his wife in his free time.
