Dr. Macknet completed his medical residency in Charlotte with OrthoCarolina and Atrium. Following residency, he completed his foot and ankle fellowship with Dr. Brodsky at Baylor Scott and White in Dallas, Texas. He grew up as an avid athlete in southern New Jersey and continued his college career at the University of Pennsylvania. In addition to obtaining his bachelor's degree in Philadelphia, he was a four-year varsity letter winner and two-time Ivy League champion while playing running back for the Quakers football team. He continues his passion for athletics by participating in endurance sports. He is a Boston Marathon, Ironman 70.3, and Ironman 140.6 World Championship qualifier. He enjoys treating the athletic and endurance athlete population in the clinic. 

Dr. Macknet is happy to return to the greater Charlotte area to continue his career with his wife, children, and two dogs.
