Biography
Matt is an experienced orthopedic physician assistant with over a decade of clinical practice, specializing in sports medicine and complex shoulder and elbow injuries at OrthoCarolina in Charlotte, NC. A graduate of Wingate University's PA program and UNC Chapel Hill, where he earned his undergraduate degree in Exercise and Sports Science, Matt brings a strong foundation in both clinical care and athletic performance. He is passionate about mentoring future PAs and fostering a collaborative, hands-on learning environment. Outside of medicine, Matt enjoys strength training, playing basketball, and cheering on UNC’s collegiate teams. An interesting fact—he was a national champion collegiate handball player with UNC’s team. Matt lives in Charlotte with his wife and two children.
