Top 6 Places for Outdoor Yoga in Charlotte
When the sun is shining Charlotteans are outside, and not just for your typical yard work or sitting on the porch. From art festivals and beer gardens to live music and rooftops, summer in the South is best lived outdoors.
When we planned our Summer Yoga Fest on the lawn at Symphony Park, we wondered what other outdoor opportunities there were to practice our best savasana. Read on to learn more about our top six places for outdoor yoga in Charlotte.

Symphony Park in South Park
Join us for a FREE morning of yoga just down the street from our OrthoCarolina South Park location. Enjoy two classes led by our friends at NC Yoga Bar, a live DJ, vendors and a raffle to win a gift basket. Register here>
Mondays | 6-7 p.m.
Pizza Peel Plaza Midwood
You can plan your entire evening around Pizza Peel’s free weekly yoga class held on their lawn right off Central Avenue. After your practice, stick around to grab some pizza (they also have great salads if you’re keeping it healthy). Now that’s the way to kick off a week! Learn more>

The McGill Rose Garden
Not only is this class in a beautiful rose garden just outside uptown Charlotte, but you can cheers yourself for the hard work. Class includes a beer after at Birdsong Brewing. NC Yoga Bar classes are $10 each, or purchase a passport. Learn more>

Olde Mecklenburg Brewery
OMB’s Yoga on Tap is held every Tuesday and, during warmer weather, you’ll find the class outside on the brewery’s lawn. Classes often bring awareness to or raise funds for local nonprofits and you get a beer (or soda) with your $8 admission fee. Learn more>

Novel Stonewall Station

USNWC South Ridge
From May through October, USNWC offers nine weekly yoga classes at the South Ridge location of their campus. Find a spot for your mat on the decking nestled in the woods with twinkle lights for ambiance. Classes are free with a $6 parking fee, or purchase a parking pass. Learn more>
