Priscilla Poole, PA-C

Biography

Priscilla is a physician assistant joining the Pediatrics team. She graduated with honors from The College of Wooster with a B.A. in Neuroscience and minor in Chemistry. During college she was a member of the Women's Swimming & Diving Team specializing in the 200 Backstroke and 400 Individual Medley, where she held multiple school records. As a competitive swimmer, she developed an interest in sports medicine and orthopedics. She continued this interest in orthopedics as a Certified Clinical Research Coordinator at the OrthoCarolina Research Institute prior to attending PA school. Priscilla graduated from Elon University, earning a Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies. Before joining OrthoCarolina she worked in anesthesia pain management for post-surgical and trauma related pain. Outside of work, she enjoys baking, exercising and being outdoors with her husband and dog.
