Jason Norcross is very professional in his approach, yet speaks in terms the average person can understand. The entire staff is very friendly & my most recent wait time was relatively short. I wouldn’t go to another practice as I’ve seen several different doctors here & each one is very knowledgeable & professional.

Dr. Jason Norcross is a fellowship-trained adult reconstruction surgeon specializing in hip and knee replacement surgery. He also has a special interest in computer-assisted surgery. Dr. Norcross joined Hickory Orthopaedic Center in the fall of 2006, and his comprehensive training enables him to treat all general orthopedic needs.

Dr. Norcross completed Medical School at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. This was followed by an internship and residency program at The University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, Texas. During his residency, Dr. Norcross was four times awarded the OITE Master Academic Certificate of Recognition, an award for the highest academic score by a resident. He completed an accredited fellowship program at Concord Repatriation Hospital in Sydney, Australia. This comprehensive program prepared Dr. Norcross to perform the latest treatment options for arthritis of the hip and knee, including minimally invasive surgery, hip resurfacing, computer-assisted surgery.

Dr. Norcross is certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgeons and is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, the American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons and the North Carolina Medical Society.
