Biography
Caitlyn Ellis, PA-C, is a dedicated Physician Assistant specializing in pediatric orthopedics at OrthoCarolina. She works alongside Dr. Christian Clark across several clinic locations, helping children and adolescents recover from injuries and return to the activities they love. Caitlyn enjoys the collaborative, dynamic nature of pediatric care and is especially passionate about supporting young patients through treatment and rehabilitation.
A native of Greensboro, NC, Caitlyn earned her Bachelor’s in Exercise and Sport Science from UNC Chapel Hill, where she was a cheerleader for the Tar Heels and had the unforgettable experience of cheering court side during an NCAA men’s basketball championship win. She later completed her Master of Medical Science in Physician Assistant Studies at Wake Forest School of Medicine, where she earned honors for leadership and global health engagement. Caitlyn’s early clinical experience includes work as an orthopedic technician and nursing assistant, and her love for pediatric orthopedics stems from her commitment to helping kids heal and thrive. As part of the PA Fellowship faculty, she enjoys mentoring new providers and sharing her passion for compassionate, team-based care.
Outside of work, Caitlyn enjoys reading, exercising, and traveling to visit family and friends. She also loves learning about the wide range of sports and activities her young patients are involved in—especially as they inspire her with their energy and determination.
