When you sign up for text messages from OrthoCarolina, P.A. (“OC”), you are authorizing OC to send you text messages related to your relationship with OC, including updates related to your visits, MyChart account, one-time passcode, billing notifications, medical condition, treatment, prescriptions, protected health information (“PHI”) and care management. The content provided via text is not intended, and should not be relied upon for treatment or medical diagnosis. In the event of an emergency, dial 911 or contact the local emergency assistance.

By agreeing to receive text messages from OC, you understand and acknowledge that text messages are not confidential or secure, and there is an inherent risk that your information or PHI may be intercepted and used for inappropriate purposes.

You may opt out of SMS messages by texting STOP to the respective shortcode. Your opt-out request will generate one final message confirming that you unsubscribed.
