Biography

Bob Raspa is a board-certified Physician Assistant specializing in adult hip and knee reconstruction. He began his healthcare career in 1996 after earning his degree with honors in Occupational Therapy from Temple University in Philadelphia, where he served as class president and vice president of the Allied Health College. While practicing as an Occupational Therapist, Bob chose to further expand his clinical expertise by earning his Physician Assistant degree with honors from MCP Hahnemann University in 2001. 

In 2002, Bob began his orthopedic career at the Rothman Institute in Philadelphia and New Jersey, where he assisted Dr. Richard Rothman and served as Chief PA. He joined OrthoCarolina in 2011, providing patient care in the clinic, supporting OrthoCarolina Urgent Care, and assisting with total joint replacements. In 2014, Bob transitioned into a full-time administrative role and has since held several leadership positions, including helping establish OrthoCarolina’s Value Based Care program. He currently serves as OrthoCarolina’s Chief Administrative and Value Officer.
