OrthoCarolina offers a Physiatry Spine Fellowship, led by four fellowship-trained physiatrists who are active members of a number of professional organizations, including the American Board of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, North American Spine Society, American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians, International Spine Intervention Society, American Association of Physicians of Indian Origin, and American Academy of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation.
The Fellow will typically participate in the following procedures: lumbar, cervical, and thoracic epidurals, nerve blocks and facet injections, peripheral joint injections including hip, shoulders, sacroiliac joint, elbow, wrist and knee, radiofrequency ablations, vertebroplasty/kyphoplasty, discography, electrodiagnostic studies and diagnostic procedures.
Once the Fellow is acclimated to our clinic system, they will participate in clinic, where they make decisions independently.
