Rotations Clinics

Each fellow will complete rotations with each attending physician.  Fellows will provide independent care through the weekly Fellows’ clinic and working as attending physician over the resident(s) on Foot & Ankle service in the Myers Park Orthopedic Clinic.  These clinics are held weekly, and fellows rotate through on a monthly basis.

Research

OrthoCarolina Foot & Ankle fellows have numerous opportunities for research during their time here through the OrthoCarolina Research Institute.  The following are the requirements for completion of the program:

  • One book chapter/review article
  • 2 papers for publication
  • Abstract submission for AOFAS annual meeting

Conferences

Our Foot & Ankle fellows attend several weekly conferences within the Foot & Ankle Institute (FAI) as well as with the CMC Orthopedic Residency program.  These include:  CMC weekly M&M and grand rounds, and FAI weekly didactic and indications conferences.  Fellows also attend the AOFAS annual summer meeting.
