Dr. Majors also specializes in Sports Medicine and surgery of the shoulder and knee with a focus on Arthroscopic surgery.
Dr Majors is involved with the development of instruments and techniques used in arthroscopic surgery of the knee and shoulder, including ACL reconstruction, rotator cuff repair and shoulder instability surgery.
Dr. Majors is a member of several professional societies, including the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, American Orthopedic Society for Sports Medicine, Arthroscopy Association of North America and the North Carolina Orthopaedic Association.
Dr. Majors serves on the State Board of licensure for Athletic Trainers (NCBATE) and the North Carolina Medical Society Sports Medicine Committee.
Dr. Majors is a Sports Medicine consultant for the NFL and the team physician for several local high schools.
