Raised in Atlanta, Dr. Cohen joined Miller Orthopaedic Clinic (now OrthoCarolina) in 2001. After graduating from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and the Medical College of Georgia, he performed fellowships in foot and ankle surgery at the Medical College of Wisconsin and the American Sports Medicine Institute. Prior to his return to Charlotte, Dr. Cohen served as an orthopedic surgeon at the Tallahassee Orthopedic Clinic in Tallahassee, FL.
Dr. Cohen and his colleagues are leaders in the education of foot and ankle disorders. He helps edit a highly acclaimed journal and currently serves as the fellowship director of the nationally recognized Foot & Ankle Fellowship of OrthoCarolina. He also serves as a clinical faculty member of the orthopedic surgery residency program of Carolinas Medical Center.
