What Does a Physician Assistant Do?

If you’ve ever scheduled a medical appointment (and if you’re reading this, you probably have) you know that there can sometimes be a wait to see providers. That’s where Physician Assistants come in. Nationally certified and state-licensed medical professionals who work alongside physicians, PAs are a critical part of our medical practice and allow patients to obtain appointments sooner than they might have been able to otherwise. Physician assistants also play a big role in patient education, answering questions patients sometimes may not want to ask their doctors.
