Workers Compensation

OrthoCarolina delivers expert care and treatment to individuals injured on the job. We have an Industrial athlete approach to our treatment, understanding that a productive life style is what is important to all concerned parties, most importantly to the patient.
Our goal is to deliver optimal, rapid musculoskeletal treatment and care to return the injured worker back to the working field. Through this process, we aim for the highest outcomes which equate to high value for all of our workers’ compensation customers.

Through the acute treatment process, our physiatrists and orthopedic surgeons may use the following tools to meet the designated “highest outcomes”. MRI Services, MRI with Arthrogram, Physical Therapy, Work Conditioning and Functional Capacity Evaluations. All of these departments are within OrthoCarolina, allowing continuity of care and rapid delivery of service to the injured worker.

OrthoCarolina has designated a department to handle Workers’ Compensation cases. These employees will make authorized appointments, work to obtain timely authorization for tests and surgeries and are willing to take your calls to help make this referral process as smooth as possible.  Occasionally an Independent Medical Exam or Second Opinion is necessary to provide appropriate treatment to the Injured Worker. The criteria for these Special Exams along with a list of our participating physicians are included in the toolbox below.
